Select Board
The Town of Pittston is served by a 5-member Select Board. Terms are set at three-years and are staggered so that no more than two positions are open annually. Select Board meetings are held Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and work sessions are held Mondays at 9:00 am. Both meetings are held at the Town Office and are open to the public. Appeals Board
The Town of Pittston Appeals Board hears appeals from decisions made by the Code Enforcement Officer and other administrative decisions made by the Town. The board is responsible for reviewing applications for variances, special exceptions, and other appeals as allowed under the Town’s ordinances and state law. Planning Board
The Town of Pittston Planning Board is responsible for reviewing and approving land use and development proposals to ensure they comply with the Town’s ordinances and comprehensive plan. The board reviews subdivision applications, site plan applications, and other land use proposals as required by local and state regulations.
