1st Tax Payment Due Date Coming Soon!

The first tax payments for fiscal year 2027 are due on October 31, 2026. Interest begins on unpaid first payment balances as of November 1.
Payment options are as follows:
- In-person (cash, credit/debit, check, or money order) - Last day is Friday, October 30, from 7 am to 1 pm (normal office hours)
- By mail (check or money order only) - Payments will be applied based on their postmark date (even if received after Oct 31)
- By phone (credit/debit card only) - During business hours only; for security, the name on the card must match the name on the tax account to which payment is being applied
- Drop-off (check & money order only) - Place payment in an envelope marked with the tax account number and drop it in the slot next to the Town Office front door; payments received before Monday, November 2 will be applied with a presumed date of October 31
- Bank bill pay services - Contact your bank for information on sending payments directly from your bank account; be sure to enter your tax account number when setting it up and designate “Town of Pittston” as the payee
